Is "Locknetics" going away?
The facility in Forestville, CT will continue to produce and support
the full range of products as Schlage Electronic Security under the
Schlage brand. This affects system components such as mag locks, power
supplies, pushbuttons and others, formerly branded "Locknetics". You
will see the name "Locknetics" used with the Schlage logo over the next
year to facilitate the transition.
What will the product
documentation say? Products will be transitioning over the
next 12-18 moths. Most products will carry the Schlage brand and the
installation instructions, templates and other collateral will say Schlage.
You'll see this on Fast Track as well as regular orders. Products used
with Von Duprin devices such as CM993, VIP993 and WA993 will still carry
the Von Duprin brand.
Will I be working with the same people in
Customer Service and Technical Support? YES. Our team is
committed to making your experience with Schlage Electronic Security a
positive one.

Schlage and Locknetics have different terms and conditions.
Have the terms and conditions changed? While we've brought many of the brands to
consistent terms, there are still some differences between Schlage Commercial
and Schlage Electronic Security. For the detailed terms, see page 3 "Prices
and Payments" in the new price book effective February 27, 2006. Terms and
conditions are also printed on the back of invoices.
Does this mean that current Schlage accounts can automatically
purchase Schlage Electronic Security products? No - there are no automatic
changes and the process to open accounts stays the same. Many electronic products
require certification. Contact your local Ingersoll Rand Security Technologies
Consultant in your area.
